                                               Working Principle & Advantages

 

Upgraded from a conventional jet mill, adopts unique high-temperature mechanical sealing technology and cooling technology, and uses high-temperature steam as the kinetic energy medium for milling. Through the specially designed Laval nozzle, the material is milled at high speed. The crushed materials enter the forced eddy current classification, the qualified materials enter the heat preservation collection system for collection, and the coarse materials fall into the crushing zone to continue crushing. The whole process is completed under the dry method.
 

  • Particle size range D50: 0.5-10μm;
  • Can produce nano-scale particles by dry method;
  • Using superheated steam as the gas source, the working pressure is generally between 8-40bar, the steam temperature is 230-360ºC, and it has a drying effect;
  • Due to the high jet velocity, higher input kinetic energy and strong grinding force, the exit velocity of the high-energy jet mill nozzle can reach 1020m/s, which can prepare finer particle size powder;
  • The viscosity of steam is lower than that of air, making it easier to obtain finer particles;
  • High energy utilization rate, lower operating cost than traditional jet mills;
  • The grinding process is completed by the collision of the material itself, completely self-grinding, so the equipment is wear-resistant and the product purity is high;
  • High sound velocity and low dynamic viscosity can achieve higher crushing efficiency and classification accuracy, reduce over-grinding, and obtain narrower particle size distribution;
  • Good shape and high activity;
  • The classifying wheel automatically separates materials through the airflow, and no coarse particles are produced;
  • The key components such as the inner lining, classifying wheel, nozzle, etc. can be made of ceramic materials such as alumina, zirconia, silicon carbide, etc., to ensure zero contact with metal during the entire crushing process, and meet the requirements of high-purity materials;
  • The classifying rotor is installed horizontally or vertically, and one rotor or multiple rotors can be installed;
  • The rotor speed can be adjusted by frequency conversion, and the particle size distribution can be flexibly adjusted;
  • The entire system is sealed and ground, with less dust, low noise, and the production process is clean and environmentally friendly;
  • The control system adopts program control, which is easy to operate;
  • Can be used for ultra-fine processing of high-viscosity products;
  • The motor can be connected with a belt to increase the speed;
  • It can be used in series with a multi-stage classifier to produce products with multiple particle sizes at one time;
  • Accurate weighing control system can be selected, with high product stability and good consistency;
